Cıtadel

Gaziantep Castle is an impressive structure rising in the city center and used by different civilizations throughout history. First built as a lookout point during the Roman period, the castle was developed during the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. The castle has been restored many times throughout history and took its final form with a restoration carried out in the early 2000s. Today, it hosts an impressive museum where the defense of Gaziantep is told.

Gaziantep Hammam Museum is an impressive museum that aims to introduce the traditional Ottoman hammam culture. The museum presents the past functions of the hammam and the hammam rituals to visitors in detail. It is an ideal spot to discover traditional hammam architecture and witness this cultural heritage. You can visit the museum every day of the week between 08:30 and 17:30.
