The Natural History Museum, located in the Kemaliye district of Erzincan, is a center that exhibits the natural richness and biodiversity of the region. The museum contains interesting collections such as plant and animal species specific to the region, geological formations and fossils. The number of plant fossils is around 800, while the number of insect fossils is around 2000. One of the new additions to the museum is the elephant skeleton brought from the Ankara Zoo.
