Located in the historical Sultanahmet district in Istanbul, Turkey, Hagia Sophia is a magnificent structure that takes your breath away with its magnificent architecture, enormous dome, golden mosaics and impressive history. Green Tomb

One of the symbols of Bursa, the Green Tomb is the mausoleum of Ottoman Sultan Çelebi Mehmet. Built in the 15th century, this elegant structure takes its name from the turquoise tiles decorating its exterior. The tomb, which looks single-story when viewed from the outside, has two floors, including the hall where the coffins are located and the barrel-vaulted tomb chamber below it. The detailed tile work and decorations inside the tomb are one of the most beautiful examples of Ottoman art.

Tophane Clock Tower

Located in the historic Tophane district of Bursa, the Clock Tower is one of the important structures remaining from the Ottoman period. One of the most popular winter tourism spots in Turkey, Uludağ Ski Resort is located in Bursa. Uludağ is the highest mountain in the Marmara Region. Extending in the northwest-southeast direction, Uludağ is 40 km long. It is an ideal destination for both amateur and professional skiers with its ski slopes of different difficulty levels, modern facilities and fascinating snow views. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, it is also possible to go to the top by chairlift and watch the unique view. One of the most important historical structures of Bursa, the Ulu Mosque was built in 1399 by the Ottoman Sultan Yıldırım Bayezid. The mosque, which draws attention with its 20 domes and magnificent architecture, is also fascinating with its interior calligraphy and woodwork. The fountain in the middle of the mosque offers a different atmosphere with its unique design. Koza Han, one of the historical bazaars of Bursa, was built in 1491 by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II. Bursa Archaeology Museum, located in Bursa Kültürpark, exhibits important artifacts that shed light on the history of the region. Among the artifacts exhibited in the museum are; fossils dating back 15 million years; a female body and other findings from the Chalcolithic Period from Aktopraklık Mound; terracotta grave findings from the Yortan culture; figurines, pots and pans and ornaments from the Antandros Necropolis; a Greco-Persian grave stele found in the Bursa plain; stone artifacts from the Roman period; depictions of Zeus and Herakles, statues of Cybele, bronze busts of Athena and Apollo; ceramic vessels in various forms, silver, bronze and terracotta artifacts from the Byzantine period, and gold, silver and bronze coins from the Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods. For history and archaeology enthusiasts, the museum is open from 08:00–16:30.

Nıcaea Fortress

Located in the İznik district of Bursa, İznik Castle is a historical structure bearing traces from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods. İznik Castle dates back to the Roman Empire. The walls, which are over 4 thousand meters long, are surrounded by magnificent gates and towers. Used for defense purposes since ancient times, the castle today offers an impressive atmosphere that makes visitors feel the rich history of İznik.

Hagia Sophia Church

Located in İznik, the Hagia Sophia Church has an important place in the history of Christianity. This structure, where the 7th Ecumenical Council met, draws attention with its architecture and fresco remains from the Byzantine period.
