Ishak Pasha Palace
Located in Doğubeyazıt, İshak Pasha Palace is one of the most magnificent structures from the Ottoman period and has been on UNESCO's World Heritage Tentative List since 2000. Built in the 18th century, the palace is a unique work that bears traces of both Seljuk and Persian architecture. Located in an impressive location among the mountains, the palace is also famous for its rich stone decorations and magnificent view.
Mount Ararat
The highest point in Turkey, Mount Ararat (5137 m - 16 853 feet), is at the forefront with both its natural beauty and its place in Turkish religious mythology, and it is also believed that Noah's Ark is located here. Mount Ararat is a paradise for nature lovers and a unique route for trekking and mountaineering. The fact that its summit is covered with snow all year round also offers a magnificent view to its surroundings.
