Day 1

Day 1 – Ephesus Ancient City Tour (Istanbul → Izmir)

Your journey begins with a transfer from your hotel in Istanbul to the airport in the early hours of the morning. After a short flight, you arrive in Izmir and reach Ephesus with a 1-hour road trip.

A large part of the day is spent exploring the Ephesus Ancient City, one of the most magnificent cities of the ancient world. History comes to life step by step with structures such as the Celsus Library, Marble Street, and the Great Theater. The tour continues with stops such as the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis, the Isa Bey Mosque, and the Selçuk Castle (panoramic). You examine traditional weaving and pottery at the handicraft center, then have lunch at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel and free time at the end of the day.
